Well, we had our first campout of the year. What a wonderful weekend with temperatures in the high 70's and a beautiful time to be camping. There were 1200 participants at the Cache Valley Fair Grounds in Logan, Utah. We had 6 of 7 Scouts, as well as Ethan Haacke and Noah Endicott, Harrison's brother, who camped with us. We had the top brass from the council eat supper with us, Allen Endicott, the Scout Executive for Trapper Trails council and Josh Haacke, the Director of Support Services for the council, as well as Isaac's dad and our Bishop. We had a couple dad's join us as well, as Scouts had soccer games that were happening at the same time, but their dad's made a lot of effort to see their sons participate in both! | We forgot big spoons, so here's an improvised spoon, mate from a water bottle, used to stir the beans! You can't say we weren't prepared, thanks to David for buying 'bottled water'! The bottles did come in handy for large spoons! |

| Our camp fire - no open fires. (at least our troop read the leader guide! They're roasting mini-marshmallows by putting them on a shapened stick and holding close to the glass. Isaac haacke came up with this crazy idea. It worked great. Isaac should be cleaning the burned marshmallows off the glass, not me! |

| Just like a National Jamboree, a field lined with tents. Not a mountain-side campout, but special nonetheless. There were Scouts from all over the northern parts of Utah, southern Idaho and southwestern Wyoming. |

What a fun time and many people enjoyed the Scouting Heritage On Wheels museum (SHOW). We had 35 uniforms, several book case displays and a table of history, trinkets and such.
